Night to Dusk
This is a collaboration between Cat Burns and I
Puzzles
This series was created by assembling multiple colored cane components. Using both traditional and unconventional cane techniques, Each piece designed with a different line pattern allowing for some interesting movement each flowing into the next. I really enjoy developing these intricate pattern pieces locking each into place. It was this part of the process that inspired the title ‘Puzzles’

Seme
Seme or seed is the title of this series of shapes inspired yet again by the forms of different seeds or seed pods. The patterns in this series are created using traditional Italian glass technique called 'Murrini.' The form is shaped by squeezing the bubble flat using a tool called the "Cork paddles." The corks allow me to shape and flatten different areas of the bubble to create various forms resembling seeds from nature. The pattern technique is referred to as a ‘Plunger pickup’.
